Hika's Passport

Biography

Hika spent much of her childhood in Kugane, working part time as an errand girl, and also learning to fight with her fists. In her teens, she stowed away to Old Sharlayan and enrolled in the Studium; learning how to speak the common tongue, and learned how to manipulate aether through a catalyst; developing an affinity for red magic. After piracy was outlawed in La Noscea, she signed up to enlist in the Maelstrom, gaining some skill with a sword & shield, and spent some years as a guard on a tradeship before rising up to the rank of captain.

Current Life

At the moment, Hika is a Maelstrom captain, but spends most of her time on the job resolving petty crime within Lominsan borders. Outside of work she's a fan of hot springs, drinking, and pit fighting, but doesn't do the latter as often as she used to.

Valuable skills

Hika is well versed in red magic, specializing in both white and black magic for healing & offense. Without magic, she's skilled with a rapier, and will even fight with her bare fists when disarmed. She also wears a buckler around her wrist for added defensive (and offensive) measure.

As a Maelstrom captain, Hika is a skilled leader and highly observant; being able to suss out fine details in her surroundings, and notice discrepancies in alibis or uncertainty in speech patterns.

Out of Character

Discord DMs are usually open, but I do not accept friend requests (if you send one to me it'll be blocked), and we'll need to have a mutual server. However I'm in plenty of FFXIV bulk servers, so it should be easy to DM me unless you're really conservative about the servers you're in.
